CAVA, the Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant chain, was expanding to Austin, Texas. To introduce their health-conscious menu to an active college town, we developed the “Adventure Locally” campaign. The campaign kicked off with the CAVATHON, meant to exercise participants’ mind, body, spirit and ultimately biceps—thanks to a celebrity appearance by one of CAVA’s investors. Additional extensions paired activities with CAVA bowls, while CAVA Island rewarded visitors willing to swim, kayak, or otherwise get to the floating restaurant. Eating adventurously has never been so rewarding.
